Our Business model is purely agribusiness with the focus of Organic Farming.
Our organic produces are including but not limited to
Papaya, Orange, Melon, Watermelon & Apple
Cabbage, Brinjal & French beans
Tomato & Onion
and many more..
Our market strategy is to supply more organic food items with cheaper price.
We provide onsite capacity building training to nearby farmers by using our existing agronomists and technocrats.
We created job opportunities to more then 40 people and most of them are youth and women.
Our major bottleneck is to get enough water to cultivate more organic food items and the only way forward is to replace non-renewable energy by installing renewable energy such as solar systems to pump more ground water.
Social/Environmental Impact
Sustainable Agribusiness will promote sustainable livelihoods in communities and promote food security.
Sustainable and quality jobs will come from agricultural value chains.
We created more jobs for the unemployed individuals in both rural and urban areas of Somaliland which means we are directly contributing to the food basket of those families.
Currently, we have eight permanent staff and more than 15 distributors and retailers (All of the retailers are women – Gender sensitive programming)
Natural foods and natural farming methods leaves a smaller carbon footprint while improves the health of its customers.
We believe that in order for the survival of the planet, we must rely on renewable energy such as solar systems which is better for the planet and conserves our natural resources.
In many agriculture areas, pollution of groundwater with fertilizers and pesticides is a major problem. In our case we are using organic fertilizers and we believe well managed organic systems with better nutrients, greatly reduce the risk of groundwater pollution.
Climate change. Organic agriculture reduces non-renewable energy use by decreasing agrochemical needs (these require high quantities of fossil fuel to be produced). Organic agriculture contributes to mitigating the greenhouse effect and global warming through its ability to keep carbon in the soil.
Growth Potential of our Business
If we get enough water we can cultivate more space/hectors which means more employment opportunities will be created.
Bullale Organic Farm is aiming to obtain the Certified Organic stamp of approval from United Arab Emirates in order to export Papaya fruit.
Bullale Organic Farm will focus its energies primarily on its customers and provide services exceeding expectations by offering farm to door delivery service. This will reduce the cost of transportation which will result more customers/retailers.
Because many farmers still utilize traditional farming methods (pesticide and herbicide applications) our Farm stands out from the crowd with its organic produces.
Unlike its traditional farm stand competitors, Bullale Organic Farm will offer a variety of selections – up to 30 different types of produce during season.
It should be noted that variety is a double edged sword: Many retailers will join because of the variety of offerings/Produces.
